Once again, taking a break from a monotonous project and wandering other blogs, I came across an interesting item that I just have to share.
Black Velvet Lace posted a blog with a survey about death and being a ghost. Now, I don’t know where I stand on the whole idea of ghosts, but as it’s close to Halloween and all, and I just enjoy reading what kind of creative responses people come up with to these kinds of questions, I just had to see what she said. I really liked two of her answers, so here they are (along with the questions):

QUESTION: Supposing they existed, do you think you’d end up in heaven or hell?
ANSWER: Heaven, somebody already paid my deposit!
QUESTION:You’ve been given the chance to send one message back to the land of the living. What does it say?
ANSWER:Everything the Bible said? It was true.
I just love them … so simple and straightforward, yet so true. The first is the best, such a great analogy and one I’ve never heard before. But it’s like, why wouldn’t I choose to go to Heaven? Jesus already did “pay my deposit” … all I had to do was accept it!
Ephesians 1:13-14 (NIV): “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.”
