I want twinkle toes

Browsing shoe sites as usual, this morning, I spotted an online store that I fell in love with immediately.  No joke.  It’s called Twinkle Toes Charms, and minus one small detail … this store is perfect.

It’s a fairly new company, and according to its about page, “Twinkle Toes Charms was born from shoe obsession.  You can never have too many pairs.”  What’s not to love about that? The makers claim to make the best shoe jewellery that money can buy — both a right and a left shoe are individually sculpted of the highest quality sterling silver.  By the way, did you catch that spelling?  “Jewellery”, with two L’s instead of one?  That’s because Twinkle Toes is based in Great Britain, and therein lies its sole flaw.

Not that I have any problem with the UK — far from it!  I’ve never left the states but if I did Britain would be one of my top destinations.  My gripe with Twinkle Toes’ location is the exchange rate and shipping costs.  Currently, PayPal’s conversion rate is $1 = £0.48570, which means even at the introductory sale price, the gorgeous twinkle necklace on a fine silver curb chain (pictured at left), would total roughly $30.88 after shipping.

Sadly, my budget won’t allow that right now … wedding plans come first.  Ah well, maybe someday.
