I’m taking a page out of PuglyFeet’s book (or should that be a post out of her blog?) and doing a Daily Mug-type photo with a quick review of the Rocketdog Boomerang.

I bought these little beauties on a whim a few weeks ago. I wasn’t sure how much I’d wear the plaid … but they’re just so cute I couldn’t resist. Now that they’re in my closet, I find myself reaching for them every time I’m wearing an outfit they will match even remotely. Dark jeans and a plain white v-neck? Perfect. Khaki capris and an embroidered sage top? Yup. Denim cargo shorts and a chocolate-brown, spaghetti-strap tank? Totally.
Last weekend Fidhlear took me to the Highland Games and I decided to see how my newest Rocket Dogs shoes would hold up to a day of walking. They did B-E-A-U-tifully. I’d added heel grips to prevent the possibility of blisters that on my little feet seem inevitable, and I experienced not a single moment of discomfort. The footbed offers just enough cush … the elastic strap is wide and snug but not tight … and the plaid is so super cute. Seriously
