Jewel-It-Yourself with House Party and Jolee’s!

Jolee's Jewels have arrived Recently I was selected to host a party sponsored by Jolee’s Jewels and HouseParty.com.  Yesterday I received my party pack in the mail and couldn’t wait to open it and check out all the goodies.

I hadn’t heard of Jolee’s Jewels before, but I’ve used scrapbook embellishments from the same brand and loved them.  So I was really happy to give jewelry-making a try.

“Experienced jewelry-makers study for years to perfect their craft, but with Jolee’s Jewels you can begin creating your own unforgettable pieces in no time. Jolee’s Jewels marries simple design with elegant materials, making it easy to create a piece that is perfect for you and your unique style.”

Stars & Swirls

Of course, I couldn’t stop at just opening the box; I decided I should make a sample bracelet before the party.  It turned out beautifully and it was really simple to make. Granted, getting the beads on a tiny wire wasn’t exactly easy, but all it takes is some extra patience.

I especially love the colors. I used the “star” mix of pink, gold, gray and clear beads – very classy.  And the toggle is so bold and funky, the bracelet doesn’t hardly need the shell pendant … but I added it anyway, just ’cause I can.

So the party is set for November 13, and so far only three people have responded.  Hopefully after seeing my test bracelet, ya’ll will get excited too and RSVP that you’re coming! (hint hint)
